Ladies, difficult girl situation, opinions/advice needed pleaassee!?

I am a senior and the girl is a junior. we have never talked, but she told a friend of mine that she thought i was cute (out of the blue) like a week ago. Everyone in school blew it out of proportion so it made it too awkward to approach her. Now things have calmed down, but I dont have school anymore becuase seniors finish early. I got her screenname from a friend, but idk if thats the best way to approach her. Do I have a legit chance, or am i overhtinking the 'cute' comment? Also, how exactly would an i.m. conversation go...what should i say, keep in mind i've never talked to her and wouldnt want it to get awkward? I appreciate any help/advice given.Ladies, difficult girl situation, opinions/advice needed pleaassee!?
Don't IM her. She'll think your overreacting. Just try to find a way to bump into her in person and talk about the cute comment and how everyone overreacted. And ask her if she wants to hang out.Ladies, difficult girl situation, opinions/advice needed pleaassee!?
I feel like you'd need to be careful with im because it's easy to misunderstand people's tone and meaning and such. Besides, if you just have the confidence to call her up like that, she might be more impressed. Stop focusing on awkwardness.
ok. just talk to her like a normal person. dont make her feel uncomfortable.
You could listen to everyone here... or just be honest and tell her you were interested enough to ask a friend for her SNcuz you never got the chance. Honesty is good in this situation, and if she's interested she will appreciate that you went out of your way to try to contact her cuz you really weren't left with too many options since you are out of school. What's the worst that happens... she says you got the wrong impression leave me alone? Big deal, I think the reward outweighs the risk, and the longer you wait to contact her the more unusual it will seem. Just man up, say f*ck it and give it a shot! You have NOTHING to lose
Just send her a message and ask her how she's doing and become friends. You might be overthinking the cute thing, she might of meant that as a general cute.

Ask her about school, and whats going on now that you left. Ask if people are still talking about you 2. and slowly get into it.
Find yourself an excuse to visit school as it's letting out. Then approach her and ask her out. If she didn't want you to know what she thought of you, you would have never heard about it. That was her attempt to let you know she's interested. I wouldn't IM her considering it's your first time talking. Good Luck!
