Girl Trouble: Need Advice?

Hey, so I've had this friend since freshman year (let's say i'm either a sophomore or junior), and after a while, I started to like her. We always talk on the phone and have conversations lasting perhaps more than 2 hours, but we don't hang out much outside of school. After I had liked her for a while, i finally decided to ask her out recently, but the response was a no.

Guessing by her implications, I think it would've been better if I had asked her out in person, as I had asked her out over the phone, which I realize now was not the best move. We're still pretty good friends now, but our relationship has been alittle weird since the beginning of the school year. I still like this girl and would like to ask her out again, but she's really tough to read, so i'm not sure if I should ask her out again, or wait, or do something else. She's one of the best ';girl'; friends that I've had, and I think it would work out pretty well if we went out, but I just don't know what to do now. Any advice relevant to this topic would be greatly appreciated. I don't have anyone that can help, or has help, so now i'm gonna ask Yahoo Answers lolGirl Trouble: Need Advice?
Get to know her better. Go on group dates or somethin, and ask her why she declined your request.Girl Trouble: Need Advice?
lol okay um just try to get to know her like a best friendd then when u get really close just ask her againn.. :DD
Not trying to be mean but if she had really really liked you in the first place she would have said yes the first time you asked her out. You could try again in person that would probably be better. But maybe she just see's you as more of a good friend rather than boyfriend, don't be too let down it's just the way it is sometimes.

good luck xxx
It sounds like she just likes you as a friend, if the relationship between you has been a little weird or awkward since the beginning of the school year. However, if you still want to try, ask her out in person. If she still says no, explain that you don't want to let things get too weird between you and you're fine with being friends. Make it clear she is very important to you and you still want her as a friend. If she says yes however, then you can see how that works out. If in the end there's nothing there, you can probably still be friends. Good luck! :)
just tell her what you just told us.............tell her that you really like her and you think that you too would make a great couple!!!.....i think you should wait and be sure before you do anything try to read her
alright i know your situation i have a hot *** friend, the thing is like this. think about ';hey if i do go out with her its gonna be amazing but what about when we break up. will we still be friends?'; honestly if i were you i would try to find someone not as close but i would continue to flirt with her if you think she kinda wants you or your dam crazy for her haha. and yea ask her out in person dont ask her out on aim or the phone girls dont like that haha
